The Los Angeles Rams have locked up the NFC West following the Washington Commanders win against the Atlanta Falcons. With one more game in the regular season, the Rams no longer have anything to play for.
Given the team has completely turned things around, it would be believed that Rams head coach Sean McVay would lean towards resting his starting players in the final game before the playoffs begin. McVay revealed his plans for Week 18
With the NFC West secured, #Rams HC Sean McVay said that resting key starters is “probably the direction we’ll go” on Sunday vs. the Seahawks.

When asked about if starters will be rested for the final game of the season against the Seattle Seahawks, McVay stated, “Probably the direction we’ll go.”
The Rams currently hold the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoff position but would fall to the No. 4 seed with a loss on Sunday and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers win. Despite the seed change also changing the opponent, McVay appears to be fine with whatever outcome happens.
