The Cincinnati Bengals could be without two offensive weapons on Saturday. Wide receiver Tee Higgins and running back Chase Brown are officially listed as questionable ahead of the Bengals’ divisional matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Higgins is dealing with a knee and ankle injury, but his game status for Saturday’s crucial matchup remains uncertain. Higgins has missed five games due to injury this season, and there’s a chance he could miss his sixth matchup.
In order to make the playoffs Cincinnati needs a win and for the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos both to lose. The possibility of losing the team’s No. 2 receiver isn’t good news with so much on the line this week.
Higgins and quarter Joe Burrow were recently named the FedEx Air & Ground Players of the Week following their performances in the overtime thriller against the Broncos last week.
Higgins recorded 11 receptions for 131 yards and three touchdowns. Burrow completed 39 of 49 passes for 412 yards and four total touchdowns. Although injuries have sidelined Higgins this season, he is tied for the fifth-most receiving touchdowns in the NFL this season. Higgins has scored 10 total touchdowns this season, recording five in the last three games.

The Bengals and Steelers last met in Week 13, where the AFC North rivals triumphed over Cincinnati with a 44-38 win. Since losing to Pittsburgh, the Bengals have won four straight games. The Steelers have lost three consecutive games since beating the Bengals in Week 13.
Both teams are entering the matchup with playoff hopes. The Steelers are fighting for seeding and a potential division title pending a Baltimore Ravens loss. Pittsburgh has been outscored by 50 points over the last three games with losses to the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs (all playoff contenders).
The Bengals have defeated the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Denver Broncos. Cincinnati will have to use its explosive offense to outscore the Steelers, but missing Higgins would be costly.
The Steelers have the eighth-highest PFF run-defense grade at 73.3 but have seen a slight decrease in production as of late.
After his llights-outperformance against the Broncos, Higgins shared how the Bengals handle the pressure.
“We try to not look at the outside noise, whether they like it or not,” he said via the team transcript. “We just stay true to who we are, and keep grinding, and digging it, and getting those Ws.”
The Bengals will hope to replicate a strong performance on Saturday to secure a spot in the playoffs.
