A TikTok video has gone viral after a husband documented his hilarious confusion over a piece of his wife’s wardrobe. The clip, posted by Matt Martinez, features himself attempting to fold a sleeveless clothing item with no apparent neckline. Since the footage was posted, it has received over 71.8 million views and more than 3.7 million likes. “Girl clothes are so weird,” Martinez said in the video, holding up a knitted garment. “What is this? Shrug sweaters—essentially cropped cardigans covering the shoulders and arms—have become a knitwear favorite to bridge the gap between seasons and add versatility to outfits. Even with answers from some in the comments, it didn’t do much to solve the mystery. “It’s a shrug vest. I still have no idea what that means. Hope that helps,” one person wrote. “I’m a girl and I was confused,” another person added. In a follow-up video, Martinez finally gave the people some closure, trying on the vest after several failures to wear it properly.
