Noah Gragson Lands New NASCAR Cup Series Seat After Stewart-Haas Racing Exit

Noah Gragson has secured a NASCAR Cup Series seat with Front Row Motorsports, taking over the No. 4 car for the 2025 season. This comes after Gragson lost his seat at Stewart-Haas Racing due to the team deciding to close it’s NASCAR operations at the end of 2024. Gragson has raced with JR Motorsports, Legacy Motor Club, and Stewart-Haas Racing in previous years. His move to Front Row Motorsports comes as they acquire a third charter to expand to three full-time entries in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series. The move by Front Row Motorsports to expand its operations has been made possible by acquiring one of the charters made available due to Stewart-Haas closing and keeping only one charter under the Haas Factory team name. Meg Oliphant/Getty Images Key members of Gragson’s crew from Stewart-Haas Racing will be accompanying him, including crew chief Drew Blickensderfer, who had worked with Gragson in achieving commendable results, such as seven top-ten finishes and one top-five finish in previous seasons. Blickensderfer commented on the move to FRM with Gragson, stating: “I’m excited to be back with Front Row Motorsports. “I had a great experience working for Bob (Jenkins) and Jerry (Freeze) before, and now returning alongside Noah makes this opportunity even more special.” Additional crew members making the transition include Chris Trickett, Matt Moeller, Dillon Silverman, and Matt Murphy, who have specialized roles ranging from interior specialist to engineer. This continuity of personnel is seen as a strong asset for Gragson as he looks to make a seamless transition to FRM. Speaking about his upcoming move, Gragson explained: “I’m grateful to have my crew chief, Drew, along with four members from last year’s team join Front Row Motorsports. This gives us a strong foundation to hit the ground running in the 2025 season.” Aside from Gragson, Zane Smith is also set to return to Front Row Motorsports. Smith, who previously parted ways with the team after the 2023 season, rejoins as he looks to continue building on his success after securing a NASCAR Truck championship with Front Row Motorsports.
