On Tuesday, December 31, the 22-year-old Louisiana State University gymnast took to Instagram to share a carousel with her 5.4 million followers, showcasing four photos of herself competing as a Tiger. In the cover shot, Dunne appears to be doing a floor routine as she poses on the mat. The second photo features her prepping to get on the balance beam, and the third photo is her on the beam. The last picture is an epic mid-air picture of her in a flip. The influencer looked focused and in the zone in the photos as she wore a classic purple and gold LSU-colored leotard in the first three snaps and a solid purple one in the last picture. Peter Forest/Getty Images The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model emphasized how winning is just as important to her as ever as she captioned her post, “New year ? same goal.” The student-athlete helped her teammates win the 2024 NCAA national gymnastics championship, marking the university’s first-ever national championship in women’s gymnastics. The New Jersey native’s fans and teammates took to the comment section to hype her up for her final season competing for the Tigers, which begins Friday, January 3. “AHHH LETS GEAUX,” teammate Lexi Zeiss wrote. Teammate Alyona Shchennikova commented a heart-eye emoji and fire emoji. “Do it for the purple and gold ???,” a fan commented in reference to LSU’s colors. Someone else wrote, “Cannot wait to see you shine!!!” Besides fans and friends, the gymnastics star has received support in her career from her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. Earlier this month, Skenes, 22, attended the annual LSU Gym 101 showcase on campus to watch his sweetheart perform. The social media star also recently reached a significant milestone in her life as she completed her undergraduate degree earlier this month. Dunne graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, focusing on leadership, sociology, and communications.
