One Piece season two is coming to Netflix in 2025, and the brand new chapter has entered production in South Africa, gearing fans up to see what’s next for Monkey D. Luffy – and we are eager to hear any updates.
The first season of One Piece was a hit when it landed on Netflix last year, with a Certified Fresh score of 85% of critics saying it “exudes an inexplicable charm” and “kept the fans of the original manga in mind first.”
Audiences loved it as much as critics did, rating it 95%, locking in a season two and bringing the news that a brand new One Piece adaptation is in the works at Netflix, which will be a new anime adaptation of the manga.

Although we don’t have an exact release date for season two right now, One Piece season two news was revealed at Netflix Geeked Week in September, and the exciting reveal that Netflix had cast characters like Kureha and Hiriluk has us wanting to know who else will be joining the returning cast throughout season two.
